Store wars in name of charity
The Apprentice met Bargain Hunt at North Tyneside charity shops as teams from a local business competed for sales.
Procter and Gamble staff left their office at Cobalt Business Park for the day to try their hands at running Marie Curie shops.
The volunteers were split into two teams, taking over shops at Forest Hall and Wallsend, armed with bags of donations.
And they quickly got to work, battling a leaking roof and till security code issues as they tried to drum up sales.
They organised window displays, sorted donations, completed pricing and labelling, and got the goods on the rails.
The Forest Hall team of Jane Corbitt, Tricia Elgaoud and Jason Long made £200, while the Wallsend group of Danielle Colquhoun, Jess Smit, Max Schroeder and Lousie Bulmer raised £274.
