Success at the double for Craig

A TEENAGER has been named as one of the health service’s best apprentices in the region and also landed himself a job.

Craig Bage was named joint winner of the NHS north east award for intermediate apprentice of the year.

The 19-year-old has also been given a job as an administrator in the training department at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s office at Cobalt Business Park in North Shields after completing his apprenticeship.

Craig, of Cramlington, said: “I’m delighted to win this award. It’s rounded off an amazing year for me.”

“Deciding to undertake an apprenticeship instead of university has been the best decision I have ever made.”
