A record number of people attended a business park’s annual summer fete.

More than 1,000 staff at Quorum Business Park in Longbenton attended the on-site event, leaving organisers delighted at that success.

Nearly 40 retailers took part, including the Fat Hippo, Zapatistas and Monsieur Crepe, Wildon Grange, Laceys Cheese and Kenspeckle Fudge.

Smaller stalls were also popular, with La Casa de Quesadilla manned by a member of the Ebiquity team raising funds for the Nepal Relief Fund.

Coco Vega provided musical entertainment during the day with his salsa band while staff enjoyed Pimms and a choice of non-alcoholic cocktails.

Quorum Business Park events manager Laura Barber said: “We were overwhelmed with the numbers that came along to this year’s highly anticipated summer fete.

“It’s been one of our most successful events yet.

“We had a fantastic variety of stalls, and the weather was certainly on our side.”
