Wallsend’s Vicky Pattison, who recently won ‘I’m a Celebrity’ on ITV, is among a host of celebrities lined up to appear at the Dreamcar Event.

It will take place at Croft Racing Circuit, near Darlington, on June 12, and is aiming to raise money for the NSPCC and its work with children and young people.

Pride of place on display will be a McLaren P1 Gtr, courtesy of Gibson Motorsport, one of only 35 of its kind in the world.

Crowds of up to 10,000 are expected.

The event is being sponsored by GC Motors and Ultimate Finish. Attendees can get passenger rides in dream cars while there will be family entertainment.

Money raised will help fund NSPCC services such as its School Service which delivers safeguarding assemblies and workshops to nine to 11-year-olds across the country.
