Suspected stolen bikes recovered by police

Four suspected stolen bikes have been recovered by police.

Officers carrying out enquiries following the theft of a bicycle from Benton arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of theft. He has been released on bail.

As part of enquiries a house was searched and four bicycles seized, officers believe the property had been stolen.

Officers are asking for help from the public to identify the owners of the following bicycles:

• Silver Coloured GT Aggressor XC 2 mountain bike

• Silver and Black Apollo Transition folding bicycle

• Green Raleigh Max mountain bike

• Pink Coloured bicycle, make : ZEG, suspected model: Pegasus City Bike.

Anyone who believes any of the bikes may belong to them is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 133 23/06/16.
