Three charities to benefit from rotary club’s collections

The Rotary Club of North Shields has secured the support of a major supermarket for help with its collections for three charities.

Members of the club will be in Tesco Extra in North Shields on Thursday, December 19, through to Saturday, December 21.

The collections are in aid of three charities - the Great North Air Ambulance, Daybreak, a local charity founded in 1982 which promotes, encourages, and supports adults with learning disabilities to lead happy, independent, socially inclusive and healthy lives, and The Children’s Foundation, a charity set up in 1990 to give children and young people in the north east the best health and wellbeing services.

And to help the rotary club members with their collections, Santa Claus will be joining them.
