The Event @ Segedunum 2016 – on July 2, from noon to 5pm in the historic grounds of the Segedunum Roman Fort in Wallsend – is a unique outdoor music festival for the borough’s 11 to 18-year-olds, showcasing some of North Tyneside’s best young bands and solo artists.

And with only 1,000 wristbands released for the festival, time is running out for young people to snap them up.

Eleven bands or soloists have been selected to perform. The audience will vote for their favourite and they will go on to play at the Mouth of the Tyne Festival.

Wristbands are priced at £3 each and are available from the bands themselves, at Segedunum Roman Fort, by calling (0191) 643 8215 or emailing [email protected]
