Two drop-in events are being held to keep residents informed of planned closures of the Metro line later this year.
Members of the public can meet Nexus staff, hear more about the project and ask any questions.
The sessions will take place at Whitley Bay Customer First Building, on York Road, on Monday, February 15, from 1pm and 4pm, and the following day from 4pm to 7pm.
The Metro line will be closed between Tynemouth and Shiremoor from Saturday, March 19, to Saturday, April 2.
It will also be closed between Benton and Whitley Bay from Saturday, July 23, to Saturday, August 6.
Raymond Johnstone, director of rail and infrastructure at Nexus, said: “We are holding two drop-in sessions to give people in North Tyneside a chance to find out information about our major works over the spring and summer.
“This is a chance for residents to meet with key members of our projects team and ask them any questions they might have.
“We are replacing nearly nine kilometres of Metro track as part of our £350m modernisation programme.
“Works will happen at night, at weekends, and during two 15-day line closures.”
“There will be a lot of intensive work in the affected areas which is why we are giving local residents the chance to meet with our project managers and contractors.”
