Is this the North East's friendliest seal?
The affable mammal was filmed by a National Trust ranger using an underwater camera off the Farne Islands in Northumberland.
The islands are home to approximately 5,000 grey seals, with about 1,500 seal pups born every autumn.
Now is a great time of year to visit the islands and see the pups, with boats trips setting off from Seahouses in Northumberland.
