Skills and silliness were the order of the day as a host of street performers entertained the crowds at the Mouth of the Tyne Festival in Tynemouth.
Dance, music and comedy stunts had visitors enthralled at Tynemouth Station and on Front Street.
Yesterday’s festival also featured a colourful pageant with hundreds of children and adults.
The festival continues today. Highlights include a musical showpiece on stage at Tynemouth Priory and Castle featuring Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, The Christians and Olivia Devine, all kicking off with Motion of Youth at 12.15pm.
