Legal challenge comes too late

Why is it that North Tyneside Council have had ample opportunity to respond to the proposed academy between Kings School and Priory Primary School when we had an elected mayor in office, only to wait until they have a Labour Mayor in office to go ahead at this late stage of play with three months to go before the children move over, to make a legal challenge?

This council don’t seem to have two halfpennies to rub together yet they are quite prepared to throw good money away doing this, it beggars belief.

Those who are responsible for voting in this Labour mayor should take a long hard look at what is about to happen in the future.

Let’s hope common sense prevails and good luck to the academy.
