ROBBIE Dale opened his Northern League account for Whitley Bay on Tuesday night with a double in a 4-2 win.
Bay made the journey over to Cumbria looking for their first win of the season after being held 2-2 at home to Dunston UTS in Saturday’s opening league fixture at Hillheads.
At Penrith, the Seahorses were in front early courtesy of a goal from David Pounder.
But the home side responded and levelled the scores up ten minutes before the interval through Aaron Roberts.
However, the visitors responded immediately, and by the half-time whistle they were 3-1 ahead.
Dale regained the lead for Whitley before Paul Robinson, a scorer on Saturday against Dunston, was on target once again.
After the break Penrith threatened briefly when Dan Robinson reduced the deficit to a single goal.
But former Blyth Spartans striker Dale had the last word and he rounded off a good night for the visitors with his second and his side’s fourth.
