FOLLOWING their cup exploits, Whitley Bay FC return to the bread and butter of STL Northern League football on Saturday when they entertain Penrith at Hillheads.
This will be Whitley’s seventh consecutive home game and they will be looking to extend their three-match winning run and keep up the pressure on the league leaders.
Whitley enjoyed a 2-0 victory in Cumbria back in September with Glen Taylor scoring on his debut.
Following the Penrith game, Whitley will have a week to prepare for their FA Vase fourth round tie away to Kent League leaders Herne Bay on Saturday, January 22.
The long journey of more than 300 miles is a difficult one for fans but the club is providing coach transport, leaving Hillheads at 5.30am and returning after the game around 5.30pm.
The provisional cost is £33 and seats can be booked at Hillheads at the Penrith game on Saturday or by contacting Tommy Moody on 07983 135627.
