WHITLEY Bay’s postponed fixture against Shildon AFC could go ahead tomorrow, as their opponents FA Carslberg Vase tie is in doubt.
The Northern League fixture was rescheduled when Shildon forced a replay in the quarter final of the competition last week, and were due to head to Ascot United on Friday afternoon.
But a pitch inspection is set to take place at 4pm, to determine whether the replay will actually go ahead.
If the game is postponed, league officials have given the go ahead for the Division One tie at Hillheads to be played instead.
A pitch inspection will take place at Ascot United at 4pm.
