Bay look to do the double over Norton

JUST a week after the two sides met on Teesside, Whitley Bay take on Norton & Stockton Ancients in the return fixture at Hillheads on Saturday.

They will be aiming to complete a quick double but Norton are a good side and will be anxious to improve on last Saturday’s performance and get something from the game.

Bay defender Callum Anderson begins a three-match suspension on Saturday, but Craig McFarlane is now back from injury and may play the full 90 minutes.

Paul Robinson is not yet fully recovered from injury and may be out for another two weeks.

Tuesday evening sees Whitley at home again when struggling Tow Law Town are the visitors to Hillheads.

The Lawyers are second bottom of the table and have lost all but two of their 16 games.

Whitley Bay have been drawn at home to Team Northumbria in the second round of the Sage Northumberland Senior Cup.

This will be the first time that the teams have met.

The game is due to be played before Saturday, November 26.
