Blacks put eight past Leopards

WHITLEY Bay Boys’ Club Under-10 Blacks maintained their unbeaten start to their Sunday league campaign with a straightforward 8-2 win over Cramlington United Under-10 Leopards.

Coulson, playing in an unaccustomed midfield position, set up the first goal, a stunning strike from Tatum, before Coulson himself added two goals.

Cramlington pulled a goal back just before half-time with a scrambled effort from a corner as the first half ended 3-1 in the Blacks’ favour.

Cramlington struggled to maintain their work rate in the second half as the Blacks created chance after chance with their incisive passing.

A stunning hat-trick from man of the match Johnston, a fine individual effort from Rawlinnson and a close range finish from Diamond took the tally to eight whilst Cramlington got a second consolation from a well taken free kick.
