North Shields assistant boss Andy Bowman believes his side have nothing to fear in their FA Cup replay against Kendal Town.
He said: “Our problem at the moment is we have a load if injuries, particularly as the games are coming thick and fast.
“That said, I thought we coped with Kendal’s plan and looked comfortable against a good side.
“We have nothing to fear in the replay, though, it’s the FA Cup after all and that makes it extra special.”
On Saturday North Shields are at Bedlington Terriers (3pm) and at Norton and Stockton on Wednesday, September 9.
At least six walkers from the club will be making the 12-mile journey from Shields to Bedlington on Saturday in aid of the Mike Amos ‘Last Legs Challenge’ to raise monies for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and Northern League charities nominated by the clubs.
The walkers are seeking sponsorship and anyone interested can contact the club.
