In the semi-final of the Standard Security Blyth and Wansbeck Sunday League Alan Davison Cup, Burradon and New Fordley comfortably won at Broomhill North End Trap.
Trap put up a brave fight but they went down 6-0 with Dale Pearson (3), Ian Lee (2) and Lee Waugh on target.
In the premier division, Ashington Town Central lost 3-0 at home against Blyth Waterloo Pub, with the goals coming from Paul Katz, Martyn Hepple and a Mathew Crooks penalty.
Division one saw two Ashington sides meet as Whitehouse entertained Northern, and in an entertaining game Northern took their chances to win 3-1. Marc Robson scored for Whitehouse who also had keeper Karl Barnard in fine form, but goals from Victor Jefferson (2) and Jamie Graham won it for Northern.
The league’s first finals of the season take place on Sunday, April 3, at Bedlington Terriers’ Welfare park ground.
The Saints Shield final at 10.30am will be a local derby between High Street and Newsham Victory. Then at 2.30pm it will be the SA Randolph Cup final when Burradon and New Fordley will be looking to retain the trophy when they take on Red Lion Earsdon.
