North Shields host fellow promoted club West Allotment Celtic on Good Friday with an 11am kick-off at the Daren Persson Stadium.
There will be ground hoppers aplenty at the Robins last home game of a fantastic campaign and there is the chance for supporters to show their appreciation of the efforts of the management team of Graham Fenton, Andy Bowman and Brian Smith with the league championship second division trophy being presented after the final whistle.
Bowman, who made his 184th appearance for the club on Saturday, his 97th as a substitute notching 53 goals, said: “I’m over the moon for everyone at the club.
“We have worked hard in the last few years particularly this season which has been incredible.
“To have scored 137 goals just in the league and conceded so few speaks volumes for the players.
“Winning the league is a credit to them, the committee and supporters who have all had faith in what Graham and myself are trying to achieve.
“We’ve been the best side all season and its been an absolute pleasure working with a great set of lads both on and off the pitch.
“Roll on next season – after a well earned rest.”
North Shields end the campaign with a trip to Darlington RA on Saturday, April 26, kick-off at 3pm.
