The Northern Alliance division one game was hard fought throughout, with Cullercoats taking a first half lead through striker Dean McCarthy.

The home side drew level immediately after the restart, but Cullercoats again grabbed the initiative when striker Aaron Langlands made it 2-1.

Hebburn equalised for a second time before Cullercoats were reduced to ten men with the dismissal of their captain Luke Ferguson.

Despite their numerical disadvantage, Cullercoats grabbed what they thought was a late winner deep into injury time with well taken finish from central defender Lloyd Leigh, but the home side struck back with the last kick of the game to make it 3-3 at the final whistle.

The seniors entertain Longbenton in the league at Links Avenue on Saturday with a 2pm kick-off.
