For the second week running Cullercoats beat Cramlington Town by the same 3-2 scoreline.
After a cup win the previous week, Cullercoats won their Northern Alliance first division meeting at Links Avenue on Saturday.
The game started slowly and Cullercoats were finding it hard to get into their rhythm, when on seven minutes, Cramlington opened the scoring.
Cullercoats slowly found their way into the game and on 12 minutes Alex Benjamin levelled with an excellent header.
Four minuets later Cullercoats were awarded a penalty and Benjamin stepped up to coolly slot the ball into the corner to make it 2-1 to the home side.
Cramlington levelled on 17 minutes and there were no more goals in the first half.
The crucial winner came on the hour when Carl Patterson scored.
Cramlington tried to get back into the game but were unable to break down the Cullercoats defence.
The game ended 3-2, which was the same result as the previous weekend’s cup encounter.
