Just four days after facing league champions Marske United at Hillheads, Whitley Bay travel to North Yorkshire on Saturday for the return fixture at Mount Pleasant.
Marske are currently sixth in the table and on the fringe of the title race.
With five wins from their last six games they are on a good run of form, but Ian Chandler’s improving side will go into the game optimistic of picking up at least a point.
However, they will be without defender Chris McDonald who begins a three-match ban and will therefore also miss next Tuesday evening’s difficult game away to third placed Newton Aycliffe.
This game at Moore Lane Park has a 7.45pm kick-off and is another quick rematch after Aycliffe came away with a narrow 1-0 win when the sides met at Hillheads two weeks ago.
Following the arrival of Callum Munro from Bishop Auckland and Aiden Haley from Durham City, Whitley have released two midfielders.
Eighteen-year-old Robbie Williamson, who was finding his opportunities limited, has left Hillheads to join Crook Town, while Sam Norris, who scored the winning goal at North Shields earlier in the season, has joined Durham City.
