First home defeat for Robins

Hebburn took the lead midway through the first half through Jack Robson’s curled effort. Two goals in two minutes from Luke Sullivan and Graeme Armstrong gave the Hornets a commanding 0-3 lead.

A Ryan Carr header looked to spark an unlikely comeback by the Robins, but Armsytrong scored two late goals to complete his hat-trick and secure the three points for the Division 1 table-toppers.

Last night (Wednesday) North Shields were away to Stockton Town, who are second in the table, and on Saturday they are away to Penrith, who are 18th.
