North Shields FC have returned to training as Graham Fenton looks to get his players ready for the 2016-17 campaign.
On show were new signings Kyle Hayes and Craig McFarlane.
Hayes arrives from league and cup winners Shildon with a big reputation.
oach Wilf Kielty said: “Kyle is a goalkeeper who is a massive signing from the double champions and his arrival shows the ambition of the club”
McFarlane is a three time FA Vase winner with Whitley Bay, who adds to an already strong defence.
Kielty added: “McFarlane is a very accomplished player with experience and will be a really good acquisition to the squad”.
To add to the signings of Kyle Hayles and Craig McFarlane, most of the 2015-16 squad have re-signed for the Robins despite attracting attention from around the league.
The management are delighted by the commitment and dedication that has been shown by the players.
Confirmed players to re-sign include captain Kevin Hughes, striker Gareth Bainbridge, winger’s Denver Morris and Dean Holmes, and St James Park goalscorers Ryan Carr and Gary Ormston with more players looking to re-sign with the club.
The only confirmed departure thus far is Chris Bannon who has moved to West Allotment Celtic who North Shields thank for his time between the sticks at the Daren Persson Stadium.
