The Year 5 and 6 football team at King Edward Primary School in North Shields have put in strong performances in the North Tyneside Littleton League so far this season.

Impressed with their dedication, teacher and coach, Paul Denton, felt the talented players deserved a strip of their own. The school approached leading supply teacher agency First Class Supply to ask for sponsorship and the Whitley-based business was more than happy to help.

Mr Denton said: “The team have been doing really well and are second in the league. They had been playing in a mixture of different strips, but we thought it would be a confidence booster for them to have one of their own and so were really pleased when First Class Supply offered to help.

“The team love their new kit and are really proud to wear it and represent their school.”

Steph Boulton, co-director at First Class Supply, the largest supplier of teaching staff to schools in North Tyneside and Northumberland, said: “We are committed to supporting our partner schools and were delighted to sponsor King Edward’s new strip. They all look fantastic and we hope it will spur the team on to future success.”
