Wembley heroes North Shields will start their warm up to the new campaign at Shielfield Park against Scottish League Two side Berwick Rangers.
A large travelling support is anticipated for the game on Saturday, July 4, at 3pm as the FA Vase holding Robins will line up against the Borderers for the first time.
Other pre-season games confirmed are at Spennymoor Town on Wednesday, July 15 (7.45pm); at Walker Central on Saturday, July 18 (3pm); then the Gary Hull Memorial Trophy match at Percy Main on Saturday, July 25 (3pm) and at Team Northumbria on Wednesday, July 29 (7.30pm).
Graham Fenton’s lads, who finished fourth in their first season back in the top flight, will open their Northern League campaign this time round at the side who finished one place above them.
They will travel to North Yorkshire to take on Guisborough Town on Saturday, August 8 (3pm).
Last August the Shieldsmen relished a rousing 3-0 verdict at Guisborough thanks to a Dean Holmes brace plus one from hotshot Gareth Bainbridge.
The opening league encounter at the Daren Persson Stadium sees newly promoted Seaham Red Star the opponents on Wednesday, August 12 (7.30pm).
The following Saturday will feature FA Cup action with the Robins scheduled to head west midweek on Wednesday, August 19, to Penrith (7.45pm).
North Shields have been drawn away to Sunderland RCA in the first round of the Northern League Cup and if successful would head for Second Division Willington at the next stage.
