Whitley Bay’s game at home to Jarrow Roofing last weekend was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
And they do not have a fixture scheduled for this weekend, so their next game will be on Tuesday evening when they make the short journey north to take on Ashington at Woodhorn Lane.
The Colliers are having an inconsistent season and currently sit in 13th in the table, 12 points behind Whitley.
But when the sides met at Hillheads back in September, Steve Harmison’s side produced one of their best performances of the season, emerging 5-1 winners.
Bay go into the game in a rich vein of form, having won their last three games and will be hoping that Kyle Patton and Alex Kempster have recovered from the injuries they suffered in their last outing at Newton Aycliffe.
They may be given a run out to test their fitness levels in the Reserves game at home to Northern Alliance promotion aspirants Birtley Town at Hillheads on Saturday, with kick-off at 2.30pm.
