Whitley Bay manager Paddy Atkinson has brought in three new players to bolster his squad as they face the prospect of having to play at least two games every week until the end of April.
Bay currently have a minimum of 30 games to play in the remaining three months of the season.
To help them cope with the hectic fixture list, centre back James Atkinson has been signed from Washington, having previously been on the books of Newcastle United.
A familiar face back at Hillheads is midfielder Tom Potter, who has just returned home from the USA.
Potter was a regular in Whitley’s Reserves side last season and made two appearances for the first team.
The third player to put pen to paper is young striker Jack Foalle, who has signed from Northern Alliance side Seaton Delaval, where he scored more than 20 goals this season.
The signings follow the recent return to Hillheads of attacking midfielder Michael Williamson.
He played four times for the club last season while on loan from Gateshead, coming off the bench to score the winning goal in a memorable victory over Dunston UTS last March.
