WHITLEY Bay play their fourth consecutive home game on Saturday when Newton Aycliffe are the visitors to Hillheads.
Aycliffe were promoted to division one as champions last season and have enjoyed a good first campaign at this level, establishing themselves in the top half of the table.
When the sides met at Moor Park in November, Whitley went down 2-1 with the winning goal coming three minutes from time.
While that was the first league game between the teams, the sides met at Hillheads in a League Cup tie last season and again it was Newton Aycliffe who came out on top.
In the visitors’ squad is former Bay defender Steve Gibson, who was a member of last season’s FA Vase winning side and he will be making his first return to Hillheads since his transfer.
This game will be Whitley’s second last home fixture of the season, with Bishop Auckland the last visitors to Hillheads on Saturday, April 21.
Whitley Bay Football Club won the Senior Team of the Year Award at the North Tyneside Council Sports Awards ceremony last week.
