The brand new North Tyneside Tennis League which started in May, has been hailed a success.
Now round two of the competition aims to build on the number of players and matches seen in round one, while also encouraging more adults to pick up a tennis racket.
The leagues are aimed at adults of any ability who just want a chance to play some competitive, yet social tennis.
The matches can be played anywhere, and Richardson Dees Park in Wallsend has open, public access, free courts.
Round two starts on Thursday, July 21, with a sign-up date of Monday, July 18.
