North Tyneside Council is holding its annual Sports Awards on Thursday, March 24, at their Quadrant headquarters.
And residents have until January 31, to put forward the names of their top sports stars.
The awards will be hosted by TV presented Roger Tames.

Nominations can be made for the best sporting achievements between January 1, and December 31, last year, as well as in the ‘services to sport’ category.
Coun Glynis Barrie, cabinet member for community services, said: “North Tyneside’s Sports Awards are always a popular event, and 2011’s ceremony is certainly going to be a fantastic occasion.
“If you haven’t already nominated your favourite sporting stars, now’s the time to put their name forward and give them the opportunity to get the recognition they deserve.”
All individual and team nominees should reside, attend a school or pursue their sport in North Tyneside.
Junior nominees must be over the age of eight.
