A total of 14 coaches and students from Battlehill Judo Club took part in the Newcastle stampede, a 10K cross country adventure designed to push everyone to the limit.
The challenging course and obstacles were designed by the Outdoor Fitness Company, 103 Field Squadron and 21 Engineer Regiment to push people to their limit.
The team entered the event in crisp white judo suits and found a quick shortcut from white belt to black belt.
All monies raised by the club will be in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
