Whitley Bay were in the driving seat by half time, 2 goals to the good and comfortably in control of the game. Simon Miles provided both goals from close range, a rebound and a first time finish to set Whitley Bay on their way to what seemed a routine victory.

However, two identical errors within 15 minutes of the restart changed the complexion of the game as Whitley Bay gifted Harrogate two unopposed goals of their own.

This Saturday Whitley Bay take on league leaders Durham University in another tough encounter.
