Westoe's powerful pack proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Anthony Rumis scored an unconverted try for Westoe with a Rhys Johnstone penalty making it 3-5. A Paul Evens converted try made it 3-12 and a Luke Moffat score was also converted for 3-19.

In the second half Richard Farnie went over, converted by Johnstone for 10-19, but two yellow cards left Rockcliff short-handed in the latter stages and Westoe took advantage with John Younghusband going over for a late bonus point try.
