Whitley Bay Film Festival 2015 is in full swing with a number of presentations set to take place over the coming days.
The festival is synonymous with the interesting venues chosen to show films.
Other locations this year include St Mary’s Island, The Rendezvous Cafe, the revitalised Cullercoats Crescent Club and the Yoga Station at Whitley Bay Metro station to name but a few.
Highlights still to come include Pixar spectacular Up follwed by Ealing classic Passport To Pimlico, both on Tuesday, August 25, at 5.30pm and 8pm respectively.
The festival was opened recently with the visit of Who singer Roger Daltrey.
Festival director Ema Lea said: “Having Roger Daltrey visit Whitley Bay was a great boost for the 2015 festival.
“It’s brought the attention of a whole new audience to our programme.
“Now we are celebrating our sixth birthday and we offer a packed schedule of exciting screenings and events.”
