A Cullercoats based theatre company will embark on a hectic period from Monday, with two new productions within a month.
Cloud Nine Theatre Company will be performing The End of the Pier by Neil Armstrong, a fast-paced new comedy based around The Lovebirds, an Edwardian touring musical act, seen by their audiences as a devoted twosome. It is on at Wallsend Memorial Hall on Monday and The Exchange North Shields on Tuesday.
And a new show of comic mime sketches, An Excess of Overcoats is to be performed twice daily at Tynemouth Station on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10 as part of the Mouth of the Tyne Festival, with accompanying live music from Bugman. Performances are free of charge.
