More than 100 north east children will be performing as part of a production at the Playhouse, Whitley Bay.
The youngsters will be on stage in the Pied Piper at the theatre from August 4 to 6.
As well as the village children who befriend the Pied Piper, children from North Tyneside, Darlington, Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, Northumberland, South Tyneside, Stockton on Tees and Sunderland will play a variety of characters, including woodland creatures, fairies, trogs and rats.
