Dive in for some Disney treats
Young Disney fans are being offered the chance to get in a popular visitor attraction for free.
Tynemouth Aquarium has joined forces with Disney on Ice to celebrate 100 years of Disney and the show coming to Newcastle’s Utilita Arena in October.
The weekend – on Saturday and Sunday – Tynemouth Aquarium is inviting younger visitors to come dressed as their favourite Disney stars to access free entry.
Youngsters who take the Disney On Ice trail through the aquarium can enter a lucky draw to win one of five sets of family tickets to the opening night of Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic at the Utilita Arena on Wednesday, October 2.
The Disney On Ice themed weekend at Tynemouth Aquarium will include free arts and crafts, story reading and bookmarks, and one prize of a pass to win free family entry for a year to Tynemouth Aquarium, and VIP entry to the opening night, with pre-show hospitality and a meet and greet with two stars of the show.
To enter, visitors will be invited to take a selfie in front of a Disney On Ice backdrop, upload it to Facebook and #TynemouthAquarium and DisneyOnIceUK.
