Parking restrictions to be introduced on Belford bend after safety concerns
Double yellow lines are to be introduced on a section of Belford’s main street after concerns were raised by parish councillors.
Belford Parish Council had expressed safety concerns about the absence of parking restrictions on a bend on High Street.
Coun Guy Renner-Thompson, local county councillor, said: “It should be happening shortly. I am glad it’s finally happening.”
He is also investigating an issue with double yellow lines behind E M Shearer & Son’s shop on the street.
