Hide AdFitness enthusiast, cross fitter and former gym manager Ami Lowes, set up functional fitness brand Roar North last year and offers gym clothing in a range of colours and styles. She has recently collaborated with local tattoo artist Chavez Pattinson on creating the sell out Beast from the North East t-shirt range.
April, who runs marketing agency Play the Field, set up Home Luxe Co after seeing a gap in the market for affordable home accessories. Launched during lockdown, her home accessories brand has attracted sales from the likes of Lydia Bright from TOWIE, and has featured in leading homeware magazines like House Beautiful, Ideal Home and Good Housekeeping.
Ami and Harriett’s collections both starred in the annual Hospice Fashion Show in March, with Ami’s son Dougie stealing the show with his dancing on stage.
April said: “The pop up shop will give us an opportunity to showcase our products to a wider market so we hope people will come and support our small businesses through the week long period.”
