Two units on the site of 16 new homes at Buchanan Estates’ Southfields housing development at Acklington have now been reserved, with a great deal of interest shown in the development following its official launch over the recent Bank Holiday weekend.
Julie Walker of selling agent WalkersXchange, says demand is extremely strong for properties in Northumberland and has been amazed by the number of people interested in the Southfields development.

“It’s been an incredible first weekend with 30 or so calls and enquiries via the marketing portals since the development went live from house buyers who are looking to buy in this part of the world. The standard of fit out and finish on offer at Acklington is extremely good, with the range of house types available an added benefit.”
Surgo Construction, a local building contractor, is undertaking the build, with the first units expected to be ready for occupation in the autumn with the entire development finished by the summer of 2022.
Buyers can choose from a selection of two-bedroom bungalows, three-bedroom semis, four-bedroom semis and four and five-bedroom detached homes designed in a traditional style with private gardens and garaging all set within a traditional courtyard arrangement.

“Our partnership with local building contractor Surgo Construction, who have an established track record for building homes of quality, should give any would-be buyers looking for a new home in Northumberland added reassurance.”
