The Volkswagen Caddy will be put to good use, transporting tools and materials needed for habitat management around the region including the Border Mires in north Northumberland and will save using one of the bigger vehicles when life returns to normal and volunteers head back onto the reserves to carry out practical conservation work.

It will also be used to tow a large mower between reserves in the summer
