Moir hits century for Alnmouth & Lesbury in win over Hebburn
With Ian Hindmarsh hitting 74 (including eight boundaries), Gareth Hill 52 and D Sim on 21 not out, Tillside put on a big score of 212 when they batted first. Syed Mehdi was the pick of the Gateshead bowlers with figures of 4-46.
Gateshead were all out for 155 in 38 overs in reply with the bulk of their runs coming from the bat of Zhoaib Shahid, who hit 89. Jake Birkett and Alan Hindmarsh both claimed three wickets apiece for the home side.

Hide AdUlgham went down to a hefty 253 run defeat at the hands of Backworth in the Premier League.
With openers Ben Sutton hitting 113 and Alan Robson 99 it was a difficult day for the Ulgham bowlers, and in the end they were hit for 300 with only three wickets down, all of which fell to Chris Cowe.
By contrast, the visitors were reduced to 47-9 with only Adam Tait (10) in double figures.
James Morgan and Chris Liddle claimed four wickets apiece for the home side.

Hide AdIn Division 1, Warenford faced Berwick 2nds at home when they recorded a five wicket victory.
Berwick batted first and put on 165, all out in the 38th over. Jordan Woodcock was the mainstay of the innings, with a fine 74, whilst Michael Beveridge added a late 28.
Graham Rogerson was the pick of the home bowlers with figures of 4-49, whilst Michael Thompson took 3-55.
Opener Brian Thompson then carried his bat with an unbeaten 77 as waren replied with 166-5, passing their target in the 43rd over. Michael Thompson added 21 and Kevin Thompson 19.
Warkworth 1sts had a five wicket win over Blue Flames.

Hide AdAvan hit 56 for Flamesas they put on 201 all out, with Martin Clarke and Tim Burnett claiming three wickets apiece. In reply, Warkworth closed the match out with Scott Gibson on 54, Stephen dargue on 40, Michael Sewell on 37 and Adam Hall on 27 not out.
Tillside 2nds had a big seven wicket win over Ashington Rugby Club.
Ashington batted first and put on 148-8 with Ryan Pringle on 43 not out and opener Dean Hardy on 42. Callum Bickerton claimed a fine 5-23 for Tillside, who then chased it down for the loss of only three wickets with Keith Bickerton top-scoring on 70 and Ronan Atkinson on 51. This was a great victory considering Tillside took to the field with inly ten players.

Hide AdEvan Moir hit a fantastic 115 for Alnmouth and Mick Williams 50 as they posted 225-7 in their 50 overs.
Hebburn struggled throughout their innings, despite 24 from Michael Collins, and they were all out for 86 inside 24 overs.
Henry Ropbson did most damage with 4-19, whilst Matisse Richards took 3-22.
Rock won by 169 runs when they faced Civil Service at home.
A knock of 78 from Kevin Wilson laid the foundations with Kieran North adding 44 and Oliver Page 43, on their way to 226-3.

Hide AdCivil Service were then skittled for 57 with three wickets apiece for Page, North and Chris Johnson.
Ulgham 2nds went down to a big nine wicket defeat at home to Kirkley.
Malcolm Jenkinson on 14 top-scored for Ulgham as they were all out for only 60, with Marian Ragbir taking 4-11.
It was an easy target for the visitors who passed the target for the loss of only one wicket.

Hide AdIn the Thomas Wilson Cup, Wooler went down to a narrow four-run defeat away to Warkworth.
In a high-scoring match, Warkworth put on 129-4 with Keith Douglas on 37 not out snd Scott Gibson on 32.
It was a big target for the Glendale side, who replied with Andrew Aitchison on 43 and Ian Clarke on 31. However, they fell four runs short at 125-6 in their allotted overs.
In the Enid Farmer Cup Berwick 2nds entertained Tillside 2nds at the Pier Field and won by four wickets.

Hide AdIn a low-scoring match, Tillside batted first and made 55 with Daniel Caddick top-scoring on 22. Michael Shearer and David Currie took 3-6 and 3-18 respectively as the bowlers had the upper hand.
In reply, Berwick posted 59-6 with Mark Woodcock on 18 and Currie on 17 not out. Luke Dickson took 3-12 for the visitors.
