Year 13 students from King Edward VI School, Morpeth, enjoyed their Leavers’ Dinner at the Grand Hotel in Gosforth Park earlier this month.

The three-course meal was organised and hosted by the four Senior Students – Finlay Evans, Alice Hepton, Chris Johnstone and Beth Marriott – and also welcomed to the stage fellow Year 13 student Matthew Blakesley-Spicer (SPICER) as the DJ for the evening.
Year 13 Leader Emma Familton said: “Matthew did so well on the evening as he was only going to DJ for the first hour, but was so good that the hotel DJ let him do the full evening (taking his contact details as well).
“The dance floor was full for the whole evening and there was a great vibe all night.”
