Snow and freezing temperatures: Hour-by-hour weather forecast for Northumberland on Easter Sunday and Monday
Easter Sunday looks set to be the warmest day of the weekend, as temperatures are predicted to reach highs of 13°C along with plenty of sunshine.
But the Met Office has predicted that the weather will turn in the early hours of Easter Monday, with temperatures plummeting to as low as -3C and light snow expected between 1am and 5am.

Hide AdThe day does look set to pick up though, with sunny spells predicted throughout the day – although further snow showers are expected in the evening.
Temperatures on Monday are expected to reach highs of just 5C, making it a cold one if families have plans to meet up outdoors now that the lockdown rules have been eased.
The Met Office said: “A much colder day [on Monday] with a strong northerly wind and coastal gales, which will bring frequent hail and snow showers, especially along North Sea coast.
“Largely dry and sunny inland.”
